How to PlayObjective: Create your BullBuzz Fantasy bullriding team by choosing your favorite 5 Bullriders of the PBR Finals. A player can create as many teams as he/she wants. Please note that a "Player" means a user of the web site who creates thier fantassy team, whereas the the Bullriders, i.e. the actual contestants, are refered to as "Riders". PBR Finals: PBR finals is a Bullriding Championship held once a year in Las Vegas. The top 40 riders in the world based on their previous performance, riders are ordered from 1 to 40, as No. 1 is supposedly the best rider, No.2 is the second best and so on. All Bullriders will compete in 7 rounds of competition, after the seventh round the top 15 Riders based on their previous scores will compete in the 8th round, also known as the "Short Round". After the 8th round, the competition is over and the champions are decided on their total scores which is known as the "Average". After each round the judges give each rider from 0 to 100 points based on their performance. The rounds real numbers by increments of 0.25, for example: 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2 .... 99, 99.25, 99.50, 99.75, 100. Occassionally a rider may get injured or disqualified, therefore may not be able to finish all the 8 rounds. In such case there's an alternate (a substitute) which takes his place. Create Your Team: Players must register their information for payout and legal puposes as the first step to creating their team. To view the legalities of this game please view the ("Privacy Policy" page.) Each team is given a Salary Cap of $70,000 in BullBuzz bucks to use towards buying their fantasy team. The #1 Bullrider in the world coming into the PBR Finals based on the PBR points standings will cost $40,000, #2 $39,000, #3 $38,000, and continues down to the last place coming into the Finals in #40 position costing $1,000. Spend your BullBuzz bucks wisely to create the best team and win the BIG BUCKS!!!! ASny team registered after the start of the game will still be eligable to play, but only for each seperate round, excluding the 8th round and the average payout. Each team will cost $69.95 for the first team and every other team that the same user buys after that will cost $49.95 these teams will automatically be eligable for the Rounds and Average payout. Also players can create extra teams before the start of each round which only count for that particular round for only $19.95. A team cannot be changed after paid for. Also please make a difference between team creation and registration. Creation is when the team has been created and only stored in the database. At this point the team is visible to its creator and the administrator only, will not be visible by anyone else and will not participate in any standings, tie-breaks, etc. So the team is "inactive" at this point. In order to activate a team and make it visible to anyone, you must register it, which means to pay for it. When you pay for your team, then it becomes registered. Exactly the date/time of registration is what is used as a second tie-break, not the date when the team is created. The players cannot change their username, and they also cannot change their team name after they've paid for it (i.e. after registering it). Winners: The winners are based on the riders scores. The team with the highest total team points is the winner. There are 8 Rounds which will all pay 6 places. The Average will pay 8 Places. (see "PAYOUT" for colplete payout scale) REMEMBER THE MORE TEAMS YOU HAVE THE BETTER CHANCE TO WIN!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!! Tie Breakers: Each team will be asked to select a number between 1 - 500 for an estimate of what you predict your teams total points will be per round. This is used for the 1st "Tie Breaker". The 2nd "Tie Breaker" is based on the earliest team registered, so HURRY TO GET REGISTERED!!! REMEMBER THE MORE TEAMS YOU HAVE THE BETTER CHANCE TO WIN!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!! It is possible that all riders get zero points in a round (this can happen not only in the 8th round but in any other round too). If that happens, the classification for that round will be decided based on the total points earned so far. Obviously if that happens in round 8, the sum of all points so far will be actually the Average. And if that happens in round 1, total points will be zero as well so the tie-breaks will be applied for the entire classification. And if that happens in round 2, classification for round 2 will match the classification for round 1. Whenever that happens, the classification must be marked as "decided on the current Average". Note - "current Average" here actually means the total sum of all points so far, not the actual Average which is calculated when the PBR game is over. Again, a rider can earn from 0 to 100 points (by increments of 0.25), so the team points can be any number from 0 to 500 When all rounds are over, an Average is calculated (that is a sum of all points earned by a team so far) and are displayed as a separate classification. Obviously that's the most important classification with the biggest prizes. The teams are qualified based on the number of points collected for that round. Of course it's possible that two teams have the same number of points so a tie-break is needed. That's why when you create a team, you're asked for an estimation how many points (at average) will your team make per round. That could be any number from 0 to 500 (5 riders x 100 points max.). The number must be an increment of 0.25 (e.g. 300.25 - correct, 300.40 - wrong) Then when two or more teams go on a tie-break after a round, it's calculated whose estimations are closer. For example, team A, B and C are on a tie-break, all 3 of them earning 400 points are a given round. Team A average estimated points per round are 300 (100 less), Team B - 390 (only 10 less) and Team C - 450 (50 more). So in this case the classification will be: Team B Team C Team A It is possible that all teams in a tie-break have the same difference from their estimation and real points. For instance in the case above: Team A's estimation is 300, Team B is 300 and Team C is 500. Each of them is 100 points away from the actual earnings, so none of them wins the tie-break. In this case a second tie-break is applied - by date/time of registration. The sooner you register - the higher you qualify in a tie-break. In the case given above, if team A has registered first, team B is next and C is last, they have earned the same number of points, the difference between their points and estimation is the same, then the classification should be: A, B, C. When the 8 rounds are over, the big prize winner is to be defined. That's the team which had earned most points.. Again, if two teams have the same points earned, the tie-break with the estimated earnings is applied but this time they're multiplied by 8 and they are compared against your team total earnings. E.g. if your projected earnings per round are 300 and you go on a tie-break for the final classification, you will play with 2,400 points and it's compared to your team's total earnings of for all the 8 rounds. And again, if two or more teams' estimations are equally away from the earnings, the team registered sooner gets a higher position. Alternates: Ocassionally a Rider during the Finals may get injured or disqualified, therefore may not be able to finish all 8 Rounds. In such case there are Alternate (a substitute) Bullriders which take the injured or disqualified riders place throughout the remainder of the Finals. These Alternates are determined by the PBR money won standings. The first Alternate will be the #41st place Bullrider in the standings before the start of the PBR Finals, 2nd Alternate #42 in the world, 3rd #43, and so on. There will always be an Alternate rider to replace your injured rider. If your rider was injured and replaced with an Alternate, and that Alternate got injured, you would then recieve the next alternate. These Alternates will be placed in the Riders places as the PBR places them. Notifications: When a round is over and all standings are calculated, the owner of the teams winning prizes (i.e. places 1-6 for rounds and 1-8 for average) will receive a notification by e-mail |
